Duty Officer – £11.88 per hour – £22,919.98 per Anum
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of operational duties whilst specialising in assisting members in our fitness suites, delivering excellent customer service at all times.

We are looking for something who thrives working in a health and wellbeing environment whilst wanting to progress into a supervisory role.

You will currently hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor or Fitness qualification minimum, and emergency first aid at work (this can be gained upon succession)

In this role you will be supporting and motivating our members to achieve their goals and maintain the safety of all in the fitness suite. You will deliver member inductions, programme reviews and on occasions deliver HIIT and CORE classes.

We are looking for an excellent motivator looking to begin their career pathway within health and fitness. You will have our members best interests at heart and thrive in a team working environment.

Leisure Assistant – Hourly rate between £8.60 and £11.44

As a Leisure Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our members and customers. From lifeguarding our pools to maintaining cleanliness standards and assisting with equipment setup, you’ll deliver exceptional customer service at every turn.

11.25 Hours

Wednesdays 18:00-20:45 Sundays 7:30-16:00 + 2 hours LA training per month

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lifeguarding duties, including monitoring pool safety and responding to emergencies.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
  • Assisting with equipment setup and breakdown for various activities.
  • Providing excellent customer service to enhance the overall experience for our guests.

Requirements:

  • Responsible individual with a passion for working in leisure, health, and well-being.
  • Prior experience is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Strong commitment to safety and the well-being of others.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is required.

Candidates without NPLQ will have the opportunity to undergo full training.

LEISURE MANAGER

Manager with Specialism – Mildenhall Hub Leisure Centre - Closes 6th June

In this role you will oversee daily operations, ensure Health and Safety standards are followed, manage staff in your department, and enhance the overall customer experience of the Leisure Centre. You will be given dedicated time to maintain high service standards, manage budgets, and achieve financial and operational targets. Your primary focus will be in the Customer Service department, identifying opportunities for improvement and creating a positive and supportive environment for your team.

37 hours per week
Set rota includes working 1 in 4 weekends

Salary £23,846.56

An Enhanced DBS check with Barred List will be required for this post.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety and exceptional customer service throughout the facility.
Promote the Leisure Centre’s activities and facilities to both new and existing customers and staff.
Support the General Manager and colleagues in maintaining safe operations of the building.
Handle administrative duties relating to customer service, including scheduling, staff training, and managing customer feedback.
Experience & Qualifications

Experience managing a team, or managing a team within the Leisure environment is required

As this role is operational, it is essential for you to hold or attain with Abbeycroft, an RLSS NPLQ Qualification, Pool plant operator license and First Aid at work.

Those applying without these qualifications will have the opportunity to undertake full training and be required to complete within the first 8 weeks.
