Swim Admissions Policy
Child Admission Policy
To help you and your children whilst using our pools the following conditions of use apply:

Children under 8 must be directly supervised at all times (i.e within reach)

1 adult/parent to 2 children under 8 years (ratio 2:1)

The parent can be any age and only the ratio of supervision will be imposed.

There is no minimum age for babies to be allowed into the pool, however it is strongly recommended that the baby has received their vaccinations prior to using the pool. This will generally be around 3 months of age.

Parents/guardians are to stay in the facility with all children under 8 during swimming lessons

All babies must wear suitable aqua nappies that can be purchased at reception.
When not to swim
- Persons suffering from diarrhoea in the last 48 hours
- Persons diagnosed with cryptosporidiosis must not use the pool for at least 14 days after the diarrhoea has stopped
- Persons with open wounds, severe eczema, or any infectious skin complaint
- Colds, flu, and other infectious illnesses are a reason not to swim
- People should not swim if their illness/treatment makes them susceptible to infection
- People should not swim if they are affected by drink or drugs
- Babies new to swimming should not wear nappies; special baby costumes must be worn and available to buy at reception
- Children should not swim on a full stomach.
Pre-Swim Hygiene
- Showers and toilets are provided en route to the poolside entrance and customers are encouraged to use them before entering the pool
- Handwash basins with liquid soap and hand-drying facilities are provided
- No outdoor shoes, prams or pushchairs are permitted on the poolside
- All children should wear swim hats during swimming lessons (school and swim academy)
- It is the responsibility of managers on duty to ensure the pre-swim hygiene policy is followed by customers.
